More Hang Out Spots for FaeriesI choose the dark sunset anglefire photo for the background to express a Faeries need for shelter in a big city when it gets dark. Trees may still be available in the city for them to sit on branches but, they tend to be to close to human reach for Faeries to feel secure about sleeping on them. Even when that is no a threat, winters in Quebec are to harsh for anyone to sleep outside without the risk of danger. Faeries have to find alternatives.

A Cathedral Dome in Down Town Montreal
I found this picture at Angelfire. It is a bit outdated, for I have pass this catherdal many times and there are not flowers beds there anymore. The catherdral itself is pretty much the same though. This is a side view. The front has the twelve disiples near the edge of the roof, with Jesus in the middle. I will take a front shot of this cathedral and put it up at a later time. What is important now is to realize how important catherdral and church domes are to city winged Faeries surivival. They can fly and hid their undistrubed by humans. The building in front of it is the Sunlife Insurance building. At one time in Montreal's history it was the tallest building around. Perhaps the roof also has great hiding places for Faeries, pervided humans don't go up there often. |
