The Types of Human Homes Faeries Like

What type of human home is a Faery attracted to? A home that they would want or build for themselves but, done on a grander scale. The angelfire picture I choose here is similar to the types of buildings the pine Faeries of my story would build on the ground. The winged Faeries would use this style for their public facilities, such as their cooking and eatting halls and public bath houses. The Elves who spend more time on the ground would use it for a house model to live in. The house is made from cement which is similar to stone only grinded. The plants that accompany it are the best way to attract a Faery. If you have ever read about how to construct a Faery home in wooded area, you will find that stones, pieces of wood and vegetation are always good materials to use.

Faeries in a Willow Colonial Doll house

The Following are pictures of a Willow Colonial Doll House I assembled from scratch. Doll houses are good place for Faeries to hide and live, particularly when they are made from wood. Most children tend to not want to harm a Faery. Faeries then don't mind living in their doll houses. In my story Lavender does spend time living in a doll house of a Twelve year-old girl named L'Or. It has a similar sturcture to the Willow Colonial Dollhouse;however, it does have a wall that open and closes at the back and then a side of the roof that can fold to the front and then back over the closed wall. Here I have taken a front shot of my doll house. The Disney minature Fairy doll named Dulcie is at the door.

The Back of My Willow Colonial Doll House

This is the back of my Willow Colonial Doll House light up with white Christmas lights. The attic has a tree branch theme in the background. The master bedroom beneath has a night sky theme to it. The cotton on the floor and sides are clouds. The different shades of blue represent different levels of the skies. All levels have stars in them. Beside the masterbed room is the hall which I painted pink. I also added some left over flowered wall paper to it which is not visible in this picture. The hall is mostly inhabited by the artistic Disney Fairy named Bess. At the back near the window is a small desk and chair she can do her art on. The desk and chair are pieses of minature furniture I assembled from pre-cut wood I got from the dollar store. I made at least half the furniture of the dollhouse this way. Beside the hall is the bathroom with an under water theme. The Disney Water Fairy Rani mostly inhabits this room. I created an under water them in this room with a sparkling sand effect. Underneath the bathroom is the living room with a winter theme. It is also a creation center with artictic stickers on the wall and floor such as music notes. The kitchen beside it has a summer theme with tall sunflowers painted on the walls. Most of the furniture there has been made with left of over plywood that contained the doll house pieces.

The Back of My Willow Colonial Doll House

In this picture you see a part of a side of the doll house as well as the front. This chimney has its fireplace on the second floor in the master bedroom. You will notice that I also put many fake flowers in boxes in front of the windows. This was a must for me if I wanted to create a house model for Faeries. It was also a way for me to cover up a mistake I made with the windows, I put the inside pieces outside and the outside pieces inside. Once I realized what I was doing the inside pieces were stuck tight with carpenter glue. So I took some left over plywood and made the flower beds. In some places my improvisation made the house look old and crooked; however, since it is an old fashion house I figured it gave it character.
